Welcome to the Blog with pictures of the most beautiful American Trucks. In this Blog I will try to give an overview of American Trucks driving on all continents of the world. Macks, Kenworths, Peterbilts, Freightliners and other trucks from especially Europe, but also Asia, Africa, North and South America will be added to this log to give a complete overview and impression of the american trucks. If you have any additional information, pictures, prints or documentation, please send a reaction via one of my messages and I will add it, after contacting you by mail. I will publish my own pictures or pictures that I have in my own collection. If you send me information I will ofcourse explicitely mention your name or the source of information. It is however possible that I do not know who originally made a picture or that a picture has copyrights that I am not aware of. If that is the case please tell me and I will immediately remove the picture or change the source. I am sure that the collection will give a great overview of the special and beautiful American Trucks....

Volvo VN Stam Sprang-Capelle, The Netherlands

This Volvo VN has a typical dutch configuration. The truck is used for daily transportation. In fact I saw it friday morning doing its job and in the evening it arrived at the Assen truckfest. Here the Volvo passes me by after the Assen weekend. The dutch scenery make it a very nice shot!

Kenworth W900 AZI, Barneveld, The Netherlands

This Kenworth W900 was at the Assen truckfest 2010 as a visitor. The Kenworth has been imported by Koens Trading. Now the Kenworth is owned for some years by AZI. Next to this Kenworth AZI used to have a T800 that has been imported by Kenworth Strasbourg France for Van de Reijd in Sellingen. That Kenworth is now bought by Van Elst in Geldrop, The Netherlands.

Mack F700 Rauw, Zeist, The Netherlands

At Assen truckfest 2010 I met family Rauw. They visited the show with their Mack. The Mack is doing well and they are very proud to keep this oldie on the road. Theo parked the Mack very well and here is the result!

Peterbilt 379 Shelter Storage, Oldenzaal, The Netherlands

Tradition after the Assen truckfest is every year that people park near the highway and look at the convoy of 2000 trucks passing by. All parkings are full and bridges are completely filled with people. Barbeques are organized at the highway, parties are made and vehicles are shown. This year a nice Peterbilt from Shelter Storage Oldenzaal joined the crowd. This one is imported by Frank Spit. The crowd was seen even after 50 kilometres!

Volvo VN Vendrig Someren, The Netherlands

The Volvo VN driven by Barry for Vendrig Someren, was parked in a row of 2000 trucks at the Assen circuit for the Truckstar 2010 event. Together with a convoy from the south of The Netherlands they make a big party during the weekend. Assen is a very special show: 2000 trucks parked at the circuit like it is a camping and everywhere is a lot of music, barbeques, swimming pools, big parties, djs, bars etc etc. And it is all transported and organized by the drivers themselves. A unique concept that has developed over the last 30 years.
