Welcome to the Blog with pictures of the most beautiful American Trucks. In this Blog I will try to give an overview of American Trucks driving on all continents of the world. Macks, Kenworths, Peterbilts, Freightliners and other trucks from especially Europe, but also Asia, Africa, North and South America will be added to this log to give a complete overview and impression of the american trucks. If you have any additional information, pictures, prints or documentation, please send a reaction via one of my messages and I will add it, after contacting you by mail. I will publish my own pictures or pictures that I have in my own collection. If you send me information I will ofcourse explicitely mention your name or the source of information. It is however possible that I do not know who originally made a picture or that a picture has copyrights that I am not aware of. If that is the case please tell me and I will immediately remove the picture or change the source. I am sure that the collection will give a great overview of the special and beautiful American Trucks....
Although the picture is many years old an not of the best quality I really like this one. It shows two complete different cultures meeting each other in the early 80s. The Mack Cruiseliner is a big american truck doing international transports and just returning in Turkey again. The man in front of the Mack is walking traditionally in Turkey carrying fruit on his head. This shows why those international truckdrivers were real heros in those years! The Cruiseliners were quite often seen by me in the 80s in Antwerp and on the Western European highways.
A Mack MH 613 Ultraliner in white and blue used to haul across spain in the 90s. If you have more info on this truck or the company it worked for, please react.
An original US fire truck from 1973 is imported to The Netherlands. This American La France truck has an automatic Detroit engine and lots of original instruments and accesoiries. The ladder height is 100ft and the waterpump is in working condition.
This 1981 Mack F700 looks like an Australian Raodtrain, but it is a Mack from France! The showtruck is now for sale. It is in a good condition, although the doors are a bit stained. The Mack is for sale for only 8000 euros. Let us hope that the Mack will be sold to a Mack fanatic again!
