Mack Superliner Olaerts Genk, Belgium

Mack Superliner Olaerts Genk, Belgium
This Mack Superliner also visited todays oldtimer meeting in Sint Niklaas, Belgium. With the nice Opel Blitz oldtimer on the trailer and a Mack Superliner of the first type in front of it this is a real beauty. The Mack has been imported from the USA (Ex Barclay) to the Netherlands (Vd Herik) and has been sold to Olaerts in Genk, Belgium.

Kenworth W900 A Dieter Kuijl, Koewacht, The Netherlands

Kenworth W900 A Dieter Kuijl, Koewacht, The Netherlands
Today I went to the belgian oldtimer event in Sint Niklaas. There were some very nice American Trucks. Like this one Kenworth W900 A. The nice yellow Kenworth has a great Detroit engine in it that looks like brand new with the chrome parts. It is another example of a perfect rebuilding of an oldtimer truck!

Mack Ultraliner 4 axle, Israel

Mack Ultraliner 4 axle, Israel
Another Mack Ultraliner from Israel today. This one is a 4 axled truck that is typically seen in Israel. Although the Mack is not looking brand new anymore, this one is still going strong.

Macks DM 600 Slits, Helmond, The Netherlands

Macks DM 600 Slits, Helmond, The Netherlands
In the 80s the Macks DM600 from Slits in Helmond did some work for expansion of the Bavaria Beer plant in Lieshout. On this picture the Macks are parked next to each other on the Bavaria Beer side. Whether it was in those days allowed to have a break with some local beer is not familiar to me.....

Mack DM 600 Slits, Helmond, The Netherlands

Mack DM 600 Slits, Helmond, The Netherlands
This Mack is one of the Macks that made me crazy about American Trucks. This Mack DM600 I used to see every day going to school in the 80s. Together with another DM600 this Mack used to drive sand and garbage for the dump in my village. Next to that the Macks operated in the neighbourhood doing tipper and paving work. The driver of this truck, Henny van de Waardenburg and I still have contact after all the years. In the 80s I also had the possibility to join for a ride with his Mack and the other one, driven by Hennies brother. The Macks have both returned to the US. With the 4 axles it was a revolutionary Mack, before all tippers got 4 axles or more. Here the Mack is paving the road in Nuenen, The Netherlands.
